Clear Lakes Foundation was founded in 2021 by a group of friendly neighbors who wanted to make a difference in the conservation and uses of Lake Communities. The foundation commenced its journey in the neighborhood of the Isle of Catalina which is connected via 7 canals to Clear Lake in Orlando Florida.
This neighborhood was established in the 1950’s and is known for having one of the first homeowner’s associations in the United States. It is home to a melting pot of people from all over the world and serves as an attraction to the world’s top wakeboarders.

Clear Lake being at around 104 feet above sea level, it has been researched to be the beginning of the Florida Everglades in which its spring fed waters flow from the center of Florida from downtown Orlando to the Atlantic Ocean. Clear Lake is named as one of The FAB FIVE lakes in Central Florida and is partnered with the City of Orlando to maintain and keep the Lake Stocked with edible fish through FWC’s (Florida Fish and WildLife) Richloam hatchery.
The hatchery is responsible for stocking, maintaining and research of hybrid striped bass. For these reasons Clear Lake is an inspiring project to restore and maintain the beauty of the lake and canals. The foundation adopted Clear Lake as its home base and research project which has enabled the foundation to explore, meet and work with other organizations in the assistance of bringing valuable data to help in the maintenance in the preservation of lakes.

Maintain a balance of native fish in the lake that promotes a healthy population.

Aerators have been added to the canals for oxygenation.

Water testing and maintenance.
Our Team is made up of Board Members and a community of volunteers who dedicate their time, skills and money to understanding the scope of work that needs to be done to restore and conserve the ecosystem of a waterway. We start by identifying the issues that are in the body of water through means of analysis. The analysis includes but is not limited to water testing, measurements of depth, checking the bottom sediments, evaluation of the aquatic plant life and review of the animal life in and around the body of water.
